Everything about today is strange. That might as well extend to this. At least no one's insisting on taking anything impractical with them, no hauls of unneeded snacks or something that might slow them down any further than they're already going. Really, it's not the slog of getting to the safehouse that's her concern. The problem is that there's more infected out there, and she knows she and Donatello didn't get rid of all of them.
