His silence is understandable. She is amazed at his ability to move at all. If she was imprisoned in a mechanical suit, she might not want to move ever again. But he has always been an unstoppable force - a knight, a dragon - strong when everyone else falters. Padmé is determined to be strong too. Her heart is fine and the fatigue will pass.

Maybe her heart is injured. The way it aches at the thought of their little daughter, fierce and ready to lead, can't be normal. If she could just hold Leia for a little while, maybe she could piece herself back together.
