Mikumo takes the seat without complaint, though she sits with her back to the bar initially. It seems like she'd prefer to continue her people-watching to some degree rather than focus on the wall of drinks. The attempt to deflect gets a slight smile out of Mikumo, though she still mostly seems amused more than anything, like someone experiencing something novel.

"That sounds like a no. If you wanted to be that sure of my company, you could have just asked," she says, apparently not overly concerned about the white lie. She doesn't entirely see the point, since she's less likely to disappear on people than she once was anyway, but she supposes they all barely know each other here.

Mikumo does turn her head to watch the drink being made and placed, and nods a thanks to the bartender as she picks it up. The first thing she does, rather than drink it, is smell it - she could smell alcohol from several paces with her enhanced senses, which had somewhat put her off trying it, but it's less overpowering with her senses muted to normal human levels.

"Not sure about the smell," she offers, though she knows that's not necessarily an indicator of taste - one of the first foods she had outside her restrictive diet was Ragnan canned sea spiders, and those were much nicer than they'd looked. So she takes a small sip, holding it in her mouth for a few moments before she swallows. She can certainly taste the alcohol, but it feels like it fits in the overall taste of the drink rather than being distracting or overpowering, which she assumes is at least partially what calling it "smooth" had meant.

"It does go down easier than I would have expected. I wouldn't complain about having this again."
