He paused, realizing Ben might be making an assumption that wasn't accurate. "I...wasn't raised in the Temple. I, um, I couldn't have been," he tried to explain, fumblingly. "I was born the day Palaptine declared the Republic an Empire."
He met Ben's eye, with a grim, knowing look, but he was pretty sure that math won't add up, on Ben's end. But that was the truth.
