The redirection was not at all subtle, and Ezra really wished he had a better idea of what was going on in Ben's head.

He sighed internally, and went with the change in topic.

"I'm pretty torn," he admitted. "I want to be able to feel the Force. But if I can people safe by not taking it out, myself feeling better a bad reason? But also, that feels sort of backwards, because I'm used to being able to do things that others couldn't because of being able to use the Force. And also - what if the chip's not actually just an inhibitor? Like-"

His breath stuttered. "Like the ones that were in the troopers. Isn't that exactly what they called them, inhibitor chips?"

He thinks that's what he remembers Rex saying.
