This is just a little meme for all those things that might not get 'on screen' otherwise, while our character settle into life in the Broken World. Regular habits, mannerisms, quirks, rumors that might be circulating about your character (or they might have started themselves!)

Definitely do not feel like you have to come up with an answer to everything in the text box. These are just some ideas to get you thinking. Let us know if you're open to doing an IC thread spinning off the OOC info, though!

How does your character usually dress and/or what do they carry with them? She will honestly wear whatever, but she gravitates toward light colors due to a longstanding habit of needing to keep cool in the sun.
Do they have any particular routine or habits that might be noticed She's a little weird about food; not only does she have the table manners of your average bantha, but she tends to hide away some extra nonperishables in odd places. Wanna find her snack stash under her bed? Good luck, because it's probably all mixed in with her collection of junk. There are various pieces of broken things that she's either taking apart or putting back together... or intending to.
Any quirks or mannerism you want to make note of, that might not get written out?Can be found writing or typing in Aurebesh, occasionally drawing diagrams of things she's seen and labeling them with the same. Curses under her breath in Huttese when something is particularly annoying. Likes to sleep in odd places, particularly small and well-protected spaces. She'll choose to have her bed or sleeping bag up against a wall or the nearest thing to it. Often awake late because she finds it difficult to sleep unless she's purely exhausted. Can't sleep if it's too quiet. Truly has zero table manners and is not remotely self-conscious about it.
Any rumors you think would be fun to be circulating about your character? Something something space wizards? Asked if they could hunt and eat the small dinosaurs that chased them through the jungle. Doesn't actually know what a dinosaur is. May be building a robot. Hangs around the other space wizards.

Just saying, Rokuro will 100% judge her table manners, but if he spotted her 'stealing' food he would definitely soften up, as he is used to starving peasant street urchin, and would assume she simply doesn't know better and is in survival mode.

10/10 would occasionally leave sensible, easy to carry and eat food such as grilled rice balls outside her door if he knew which apartment was hers.

Also, the child probably wants to build things together. Especially now that her superpower makes her better at it and not just interested in such a hobby.

Considering Luke's less a 'tell people they're you're friends' and more a 'show them'. He's... very likely the sort to drop random scrap on her door step once he realizes that's A Thing for her. Or leave food in a bag on her door handle. So Rey will likely randomly find both at scattered frequencies depending on how often he finds something that he thinks she'd like. Not that she'd know it was him necessarily, but.. yeah. That's absolutely not the point to the whole thing.

How does your character usually dress and/or what do they carry with them? Ezra will try to blend into local fashions, with a preference toward brighter colors. His signature colors in canon are orange, yellow, and deep green woth some brown mixed in. He wears gloves, pretty much all the time. Has picked up a collapsible baton he almost always has on him.
Do they have any particular routine or habits that might be noticed? If there's a bit of nature/greenery around the base or near it that seems safe, he usually there very early, before breakfast, and can be found in a kneeling or sitting position meditating for a half an hour or so. After the first mission he will add doing lightsaber katas, either open handed or with his baton, to keep those in practice. (Form I, some Form III, and modified Form IV, for the hard core lightsaber geeks).
Any quirks or mannerism you want to make note of, that might not get written out? Even when he's being friendly, he's generally not great with direct eye contact, and if he's using it, he's probably very much making a point, or there's some trust there.

After the de-chipping, he might be spotted talking to birds or other animals hanging around, and they may be unusually sociable, in return.

Will eat literally anything he sincerely believes is food, and is tucking away some nonperishables when it looks like there's some spare. That said, his little studio is very tidy.

Any rumors you think would be fun to be circulating about your character? For who might know what it means - Jedi? Might be a Jedi.
Anything else you just wanna throw up here? No answer too rambling He's just this little guy. Seriously, he's 5' 5'' tops. He'll talk to anyone and may come off as waaaaay too trusting. Or suspicious of everyone. A eighteen-year-old who's natural personality is to bond hard and fast and community build, but who got burned hard at the ripe old age of 7 by having his parents disappeared by the Empire. He's growing into himself, but it's a process.

Absolutely still has the gray prisoner garb and probably wears it or parts of it from time to time. Really doesn't care about clothes in the slightest. Usually just wears dark colours in either a short and tanktop or jeans and a t-shirt version depending on the weather.

Should be pretty easy to pick up on the fact that Heero's pretty damned quiet. Very likely that he can go days at a time without saying anything unless he absolutely has to talk or has to respond to someone. Probably sticks to his own company a lot of the time.

Actually likes routine. So is the sort of person who'd go to the same place at the same time on the same day, repeat. Likely goes to the same shop, buys the same food, etc. He's not in the slightest adventurous about life things. Boring clothes, boring food, etc.

Probably spends a lot of time getting acquainted with the native weaponry. Could be persuaded to work with others or be talked into trying out new skills that might aid with upcoming missions.

Heero doesn't pay attention to rumors, but there are probably rumors about the weird, quiet teenager with aim that's too good and a stare that's unsettling.

But also stories of a quiet teen who climbs trees to rescue felines and absolutely spends part of his stipend to feed local creatures with no home. Probably has a set place where he leaves food and water. Because he's a secret softy.

Is your character living on the Witches base, or have they tried to find housing elsewhere? currently the witches base but he isn't majorly fussed one way or the other — depending on circumstances, he may find somewhere else to live in the future but it's not something that is a massive priority as far as he's concerned. wherever he's living will be an absolute disaster zone though. he will occasionally tidy it up, but there will be an almost permanent collection of empty coffee cups and mugs, and at least a chair with discarded clothes strewn over it.
How does your character usually dress and/or what do they carry with them? fashion is not something peter's ever been concerned with — he gravitates towards utilitarian, mostly jeans or cargo pants, fitted t-shirts. apparently he occasionally dresses like a lumberjack, and this is his usual star-lord outfit which he obvs currently doesn't have, but he'll dress fairly similar to it — a lot of greys and dark, muted neutrals.
Do they have any particular routine or habits that might be noticed peter's lived in space since he was a (late) teen and it shows. he's very nomadic in nature and has literally no routine to speak of. physically, he looks human and mostly sounds as if he's from earth (colorado to be specific) but he's pretty ignorant of a lot of contemporary earth culture, technology and social norms.

he'll be a semi-regular at most of the coffee shops and bars. he drinks a lot of coffee.
Any quirks or mannerism you want to make note of, that might not get written out? nothing that wouldn't get written about if relevant, but due to the whole 'living in space' thing, he doesn't really pay a whole lot of attention to the time — he'll sleep more or less whenever and however etc. he's also a heavy sleeper and will refuse to get up unless it's an emergency.

he's massively into music - all genres and not just 70s/80s, although he does have a preference for those eras. he prefers physical media over digital for sentimental reasons.

also, he gets very antsy being stuck in one place and will quite quickly be climbing the walls trying to find things + people to keep him occupied. (also see: semi-regular at coffee shops and bars.)
Any rumors you think would be fun to be circulating about your character? honestly? anyone can go with whatever, he'd be used to it. oocly, i'll (almost certainly) be happy to run with it, just ... give me a heads up if you think it might be a bit wild? in canon, he has a mixed reputation — space hero and space pirate, and he can occasionally be a little salty that in recent(ish) canon he's remembered less for defeating thanos and more for the space pirate thing, but that's not something he'd bring up himself. he's in a very weird place rn re: the whole star-lord/guardians of the galaxy situ.

She's living in the Command Center for now! Her little studio will be a total mess and slowly accumulate weird stuff like taxidermy beavers and maybe a pet later!

How does your character usually dress and/or what do they carry with them?
Generally, Harley dresses pretty chaotically, and she has a weird sense of fashion. When she's dressed casually, she'll probably be wearing shorts and a T-shirt, usually with suspenders, and boots - the T-shirts will probably range from custom printed "Harley Fucking Quinn" text all over to cartoon characters (she would totally wear a shirt with whatever the Broken World equivalent of Sailor Moon is on it). She also might wear dresses with boots. When she's going out, she gets a lot more sparkly and out there - she wears a see-through vinyl jacket with tinsel-and-caution tape arms in canon and she'd find something similar on the Broken World - with lots of see-through components, stars, sparkles, and glitter.

Do they have any particular routine or habits that might be noticed
Harley thrives on a complete lack of routine, but will often stop to get specific street foods - a good breakfast sandwich at a hole-in-the-wall coffee shop or a combination plate at a hole-in-the-wall alien food stall. She likes little hidden spots to eat and will seek out the most questionable-but-awesome places like a heat-seeking missile.

She has a really strong Brooklyn accent and her voice is kind of high-pitched. She's also a little childish and uncoordinated in how she moves despite being a very well-trained gymnast. She's very flamboyant and makes a lot of gestures, talks with her hands a lot.

Basically anything to do with her being completely batshit crazy, which she would take great pleasure in. She might also be known for finding hole-in-the-wall restaurants and the best food stalls. She talks to herself a lot? Make suggestions, because I'd love there to be wacky rumours about her.

Sticking with Central Command for now, since it's more akin to what she's used to in terms of shared housing (or at least not living alone, since we don't have a great impression of where Mikumo lives in canon besides "probably kept track of on the Elysion somewhere" and "tends to be vibing underwater or something during the night")
How does your character usually dress and/or what do they carry with them?
Mikumo will wear a lot of different things, but the general rule is it has to be easy to move in and not wildly impractical for a combat situation (and the latter can be flexible tbh). She tends to like short dresses and tunics, but also shorts and crops and so on. She doesn't visibly carry much on her, but if anyone sees her checking her device, they might notice it's built into a set of false nails that she always wears.
Do they have any particular routine or habits that might be noticed?
She'll be around the pool in Central Command a lot once she gets hold of a swimsuit, and she'll be keeping up her general dance/strength/little bit of everything training likely in common training areas rather than her apartment. She'll also be staking out just about anywhere in the camp that has a chance of musical performance happening (or just music playing in general) for at least the first few weeks.
Any quirks or mannerism you want to make note of, that might not get written out?
While she's fine with drinking in front of other people, it's very rare to catch her eating in front of others - even if she buys food at the markets, chances are she'll either take it home or move somewhere more quiet to eat. There's a bit of a constant state of mild amusement around Mikumo, as if there's nothing that ruffles her, but it might be possible to catch her people-watching rather than getting involved in certain activities that aren't quite common enough for someone to have been guaranteed to encounter it in three years of life. She also might here and there react like her senses are a little bit off if she encounters things she's more used to, because due to the chip her enhanced senses have been dulled down to normal human range and it's a weird experience for her.

Mikumo rolls pretty much everything off so she'd probably just find the whole thing amusing whatever it is, but considering how she looks I could see celebrity/idol/etc. rumours spreading before she actually outright mentions it to a larger range of people than the like. one or two who know already.

Mikumo is going to take some time to admit she's a clone to anyone - in the interim, she'll be going with the amnesia excuse, which is what she genuinely believed about herself up until not long ago in canon anyway. She's also not really "human" even though I tend to use "artificial human" to describe her at times because it's easier - she was cloned from a member of the Protoculture, which in Macross is essentially the predecessor species to all humanoids in the galaxy, including humans themselves. She's almost less likely to bring that up than the clone thing in general, though.

He bought a few things at random while trying and failing to find something that has amour enchantments, but that's it. But he usually does carry around on his back something that counts as a weapon and a shield which at the moment is a broom and a trash can lid

He will also be frequently collecting things wherever he goes - usually things like flowers, weeds, mushrooms, bugs, etc.

Obi-Wan (Ben) Kenobi | Star Wars

Is your character living on the Witches base, or have they tried to find housing elsewhere? [NOTE: If any of the following does not work with the setting/mod vision, it may be retconned.] Though he is appreciative of the Witches base, Ben will go out and find himself private housing especially after the first mission. He will secure a small, single person jungle style cottage that blends into their jungle home and is easy to reach, but not always easy to find. Nothing fancy, one large room with kitchen, living room all combined and a bedroom, and a bathroom. There are some fun touches, with a large outdoor shower, wrap around porch and a pathway down to a small river. Self-sufficient (as possible) and eco-friendly. He will pay for his home either through monetary means, or via trade labor for his landlord.

How does your character usually dress and/or what do they carry with them? For a man who tries to be inconspicuous, he spends a lot of time recreating his Jedi uniform. For the time being that translates into fitted linen (style) pants, oversized linen(style) tunics and boots, all in natural/neutral shades. If it's raining, he has a poncho with a hood. If/when he gains back some of his personal items, his utility belt will make an appearance, but for now he's just a neutral shade blob moving through the foliage.

Do they have any particular routine or habits that might be noticed

He comes down to the Command Center each morning, but besides that tries to keep a low profile.

He spends a lot of time in various spots of the jungle, meditating and if he's not meditating he practices unarmed katas. The katas are lightsaber forms, for any one familiar with the forms. He might also be caught talking with the local fauna. No they're not talking back to him and without the Force he can't sense them, but he still chats with them.

In the evenings he may come to the Hare and Hammer one or two nights a week to have evening meal. He will sit by himself, if he's not there to meet anyone, a quiet presence off in a corner quietly people watching/listening as he casually eats. Usually a vegetarian meal of some manner or another.

If he's not at the Hare and Hammer he can be found at his small cottage making a meal and tea, so much tea, ALL the tea.

Any quirks or mannerism you want to make note of, that might not get written out? He's still in don't mind me, nothing to see here mode, which means he is doing his best not to draw attention to himself. Just a presence that may or may not catch the eye depending upon his mood. Though he will be jovial and friendly when engaged, or if he chooses to engage someone, there is a distracted air about him when he's not actively paying attention to people. A man with a lot on his mind, trying to be friendly but often lost in his own head.

Any rumors you think would be fun to be circulating about your character? I am okay encourage the characters who know him as 'Master Kenobi', 'General Kenobi', 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' to refer to him as such and share his history/exploits. He has spent ten years remaking himself as 'Ben' as a way to survive, but it is not as important for him to hold on to here in the Broken World as it is back home. He really needs to accept that as well as accept that he's not a broken down old man. He can help this world as Obi-Wan Kenobi, he doesn't need to be hiding.

Anything else you just wanna throw up here? No answer too rambling As I mentioned in the CR meme, at the moment Obi-Wan is remaining chipped. He has spent ten years cut off from the Force, he knows how to function without it, and he will want to be as useful to the Witches as possible. That said, neither he ICly or I OOCly are married to that way of thinking. Conversations with other Force uses, as well as other military/fighting/powered types are definitely welcomed as he weighs his options and determines how he could be most effective for everybody.

I want so many things! I feel so spoiled for choice. Some options that come to mind for either threading or handwaving: 1) Ezra also being friend with animals, either before and after chipping 2) Some casual but soon to be regular stopping by for tea? I don't think Ezra is tea person, per se, but I like to think he associates tea with Ahsoka being around and Kanan allowing some nostalgia for like at the Temple, out of the box. 3) Doing katas or meditating together?

If we get there in our intro thread, Ezra will def double check what he wants to be called and if there's different rules in different settings.

How does your character usually dress and/or what do they carry with them? she's definitely finding clothes to get out of the jumpsuit bc whilst she likes a uniform this feels more prison-y. she's going to find something relaxed and easy to move in, plain tees or tanks, trousers. she's going for comfort and work over any particular style.
Do they have any particular routine or habits that might be noticed she's probably out at the market a bunch scavenging parts and goes for early morning runs. she also has more of a snarl/growl in her words (or general noise) when she's frustrated.
Any quirks or mannerism you want to make note of, that might not get written out? b'elanna's got a couple of items she wants to try and build, hence the scavenging, so she might be potentially drawing up some plans as well or she's just going from memory. she also folds her arms a lot, both defensively and out of habit.

Erza is both someone who has impulsiveness and anger issues and who has spent lot of his canon arc wrestling with them. So I think he'd have a lot of sympathy for B'elanna's temper and possibly frustrate the crap out of her when deep in Jedi serenity mode. So sparring thread maybe, y/y? Possibly after he's dechipped so she's less likely to break him?

How does your character usually dress and/or what do they carry with them? Oh boy, Rokuro might stand out for his fashion choices because he has a very unique sense of style, not to mention he is 'missing' his right eye and keeps it covered in bandages. Being from late 1500s Japan he has no real concept of dresses, skirts, or pants as gendered items, and everyone who is anyone (main characters) has a lot of flair.

Rokuro in particular leans to outfits with a lot of skin showing, cut-outs, and sometimes even heels, makeup, and nail polish. He's found some clothing 'similar' to what he and other people wear back home, and he will rock it with full confidence and zero self-awareness that it may be inappropriate for the Command Centre or rebel duties.

He has recently become obsessed with a basic tablet and carries it around like a purse-dog in one arm.

Do they have any particular routine or habits that might be noticed Rokuro is very much a creature of habit, and so he wakes up, grooms himself, and goes for a walk at the exact time early in the morning every day, spends his day attempting to learn more about technology in the computer lab, and meditates poolside in the late night.

this is how he's accustomed to dressing, so he'll be staying in that wheelhouse for the time being. will blend right in in the Mage's Sector. cultural essentials: pinstripes, buttons, vest. aside from his shoes, pretty much none of it fits him properly. catch him wearing his little suspenders because otherwise his pants will try to fall down.
will always have the mobility aids pictured above.

not very sociable. if there's any kind of regular communal meals, he misses all of them. never tells anyone where he's going. has been attending tutorials for Tian-aligned, picks the annoying time slots so fewer people who recognize him will be there. may be glimpsed out and about, especially in the Mage's Sector, speaking with artisans, exploring the markets, or checking out any sub-organizations that may exist (guilds, schools, etc).

How does your character usually dress and/or what do they carry with them? He's still feeling pretty weird without his armor, but he dresses pretty functionally and makes sure he has a lot of pouches and bags for carrying equipment because You Never Know when you're gonna need an arc welder or a spanner or a flashlight or...well, you get the picture. For sure he's always carrying around his tablet, which he's going to mod the heck out of.

Do they have any particular routine or habits that might be noticed Given the opportunity he will explain at length a given subject and attempt to answer any and all questions he's asked. Tech will pick up useful-looking scrap and parts to perhaps turn into some WMD thing useful. You can bet he'll record all the things because old habits die hard. He'll probably try to figure out some kind of training routine to keep in shape and his aim sharp BUT IT'S WEIRD WITHOUT HIS SQUAD. He also makes constant check-ins when new people are brought in/rescued from the Sylphid. You know. Just In Case. He's not missing anyone or anything... 9_9

Any quirks or mannerism you want to make note of, that might not get written out? He may have access to a bed now but he'll probably fall asleep in a chair more often than not. Once his Machine Control kicks in he'll probably end up getting some weirdly uncharacteristic case for his tablet because it wants to be trendy. Being chipped has affected his mutation but it's also kind of made him pay more attention to things like feelings and he does not know what to do with them.

Freeloading presently, although she is absolutely trying to save up enough money/coerce someone into giving her a loan so she can rent her own place (preferably somewhere that other people she's tethered/working closely with can stay, too).
How does your character usually dress and/or what do they carry with them? Gosh it really depends on the situation, Codi's wardrobe is very flexible. She's not afraid to dress formal for meetings or glam up for a night clubbing, but if she's just kind of bumming around the place, she'll gravitate towards a neutral jeans-and-t-shirt look.
Do they have any particular routine or habits that might be noticed? Aside from generally being around shops even if she's not actively buying anything, Codi's lack of routine might be notable. She makes an effort to attend any Witch meetings that come up, even if they're optional or she's not explicitly invited to them, and she never misses a magic class - but also if anyone mentions that there's an event going on, tonight? BAM she's there. Coffee meetup at 1? No preamble, she'll show up. Any social event you can think of, she'll try to be there for at least part of it and try to schmooze the ever living crap out of anyone important in attendance. One distinct exception to this rule is that she's found A Coffee Shop (probably Cyborg) that she goes to every morning, takes her time drinking a fancy late and checking her phone/the network, then leaves.

Kind of touched on it in the previous section, but Codi is extremely impulsive when it comes to A. Social Gatherings and B. Buying Shit. She does both because it's fun and she's ~investing in people~ or w/e.

Anyone that's caught her interactions with multiple people in succession should be able to tell that she's shameless when it comes to buttering people up - makes it kind of difficult to gauge what she's actually thinking or wants a lot of the time, especially when you consider the variety of places she goes and types of people she interacts with.

Pretty much the only time Codi is actually, genuinely 'herself' is first thing in the morning, when she stops by the aforementioned Coffee Shop. She uses this time to catch up on network chatter, block out time for planned important events and meetings, update her to-do list, and people-watch - basically, set up a scaffold to shape the rest of the day's chaos around to make it look spontaneous.

ALSO, she's Weird in her magic classes. Where Codi is put-together and controlled in all other social interactions, she seems to get oddly flustered with learning new stuff and tends to give up quickly on spells that aren't working well for her immediately, though she's quick to laugh it off and deflect.

Funny thing, I think they actually might think in fairly similar ways, about resources and investing in people it's just...Ezra's take is he's choosing to apply strategic-ness in a mutually beneficial/altruistic way? He sincerely believes in community building.

Spends a lot of time working on his Tian-gained magic. Yes, he's using it to fill the void of not having access to the Force. Very likely has a habit of playing with the Dancing Lights cantrip when bored.

Probably looking for some sort of side job so he can buy his own personal craft of some sort. So that he can spend his time joy riding and tinkering away at it.

She is currently living in the Witches base, and is finding an odd sense of comfort in returning back to a barracks kind of living situation. It's fine in the short term, but she definitely wants to find her own place eventually.
How does your character usually dress and/or what do they carry with them? Eight dresses fairly well. Getting new styles would be one of the first things she'd want to try to do. She tends for a modern aesthetic, but likes to alternate between bright colors and blacks. She carries a travel bag with her, and always makes sure to have a gallon of liquid that matches the color of her tentacles.
Do they have any particular routine or habits that might be noticed She's a wanderer, and likes to go from place to place to try new food and see new things. She also has a habit of quietly staring at things that interest her from a relatively safe distance. She is especially drawn to music of all varieties. Apart from this, once she has established herself she will be looking to work part time in places, and is especially interested in learning more of the mechanics of objects and devices in The Broken World. She can also be frequently seen practicing her ink manipulation, and is currently testing what she can do with it. She has learned to draw out a thin stream of ink, mold it into simple shapes, and project ink or the shapes at relatively high speed. She's never late to a witch's meeting, even if she doesn't fully trust them. Actually, it's because she doesn't fully trust them that she is so fastidious.
Any quirks or mannerism you want to make note of, that might not get written out? She can shift the color of her ink at will, but what that also means is shifting the color of her internal structure. See her in yellow? She'll have a yellow tongue and roof of her mouth. More practically, she loves routine, and is very attentive to cleanliness to an almost obsessive level. She also likes learning, and will be seen practicing what she's learned repeatedly until she feels she's mastered the skill.
Any rumors you think would be fun to be circulating about your character? It's rare, but there would be some rumors of her shifting into an octopus from time to time. There's also rumors that the strange girl has a tendency to leave behind trails of inky ooze like substance. One might even say they saw her hop into it like it was a really deep puddle! Others may mention that the tentacles seem to have a will of their own and that she has, on occasion, have disagreements with them when she gets too close to objects she is especially interested in. There's also a salacious rumor that she writes poetry and has a good singing voice, but those last two are most definitely not true.

At present, she's thinking it would be good to have the chip stay in her, but it blocks so much that seems fundamental to being an octoling that it may not last very long. She's also looking for paint and ink-based implements that she might be able to use as weaponry. But, seriously, her dream is being able to be gainfully employed, listen to music, go to an occasional concert, and hang out with her friends. She's envious of your life because it is so far removed from the bleak existence that was living in an underground Octodome. This was her childhood. The domes have screens to simulate the sky. She was 16 when she first saw the sky, y'all. ;w;
