The Tether App

During the night, everyone's phone or other network device has been updated with a new app - The Tether - intended for helping new arrivals find Tethers.

Unfortunately for those who don't want to participate, the prompt for the application will keep popping up on their screen until they fill out the mandatory fields and post their profile. If you don't want to participate, it might be best to fill in the blanks with prank answers!

Once posted, the app creates a profile that looks like this:

It is a simple swiping type app like many dating apps, swipe left to ignore a profile, swipe right to initiate an instant messenger conversation with the person in question on the app's proprietary chat program, complete with emojis!

Luke is your twin brother, so I would not be surprised that you have an affinity for one another.

[ Could he have sat her down and discussed this over tea and cookies? Probably. Would it have affected how she reacts to this news, made it any different from this approach? Probably not.

Leia was her mother's daughter, and he could only believe she would not appreciate being 'handled' when there was a truth to be face. As truths went, this one wasn't so bad; at least their ages were far enough apart that they hadn't kissed or anything.

As for knowing about Luke and exposing that he knew about Luke, before having the opportunity to speak to the lad face to face? Well this whole situation wasn't allowing for gentle introductions, so one must make do as best one could. ]

but more importantly, if she had a twin, why did she get sent to be a princess and him to a...what was it again? farm on tatooine. and how did he not know? or was he hiding it from her. he didn't seem like the type.

You and your brother were separated for your own protection. Remember how Tala told us that the Emperor was hunting all Force Sensitives in the galaxy? You and Luke on the same planet would have been a neon sign, there would have been no way... even Master Yoda was not strong enough to shield both of you, were you in the same space.
