The Tether App

During the night, everyone's phone or other network device has been updated with a new app - The Tether - intended for helping new arrivals find Tethers.

Unfortunately for those who don't want to participate, the prompt for the application will keep popping up on their screen until they fill out the mandatory fields and post their profile. If you don't want to participate, it might be best to fill in the blanks with prank answers!

Once posted, the app creates a profile that looks like this:

It is a simple swiping type app like many dating apps, swipe left to ignore a profile, swipe right to initiate an instant messenger conversation with the person in question on the app's proprietary chat program, complete with emojis!

I'm part of a group that performs on battlefields. It's difficult to explain without it turning into a bit of a wall of text.
You strike me as a little more on the side of vigilante than military, though.

For now, it's enough to say that our performances combat something that can trigger people to abruptly become violent. Usually many people at once.

That's just the impression I got. Even civilian military contractors tend to be a little more averse to headshots unless necessary, though considering ground combat is rarer where I come from, it's often less of a problem.

Those sound strangely specific. Is there any particular reason she swallowed the diamond?

I suppose at least it wasn't completely random, then. Though if she was already getting arrested, I doubt swallowing it would've let her keep hold of it for that much longer.

I would say you have a strange definition of a "good kid", but then, most of my friends have jailbroken themselves or someone else at least once.
