The Tether App

After the raging success of their previous code push, the creators of The Tether have decided to push their app again, an app intended for helping new arrivals find Tethers.

Unfortunately for those who don't want to participate, the prompt for the application will keep popping up on their screen until they fill out the mandatory fields and post their profile. If you don't want to participate, it might be best to fill in the blanks with prank answers!

Once posted, the app creates a profile that looks like this:

It is a simple swiping type app like many dating apps, swipe left to ignore a profile, swipe right to initiate an instant messenger conversation with the person in question on the app's proprietary chat program, complete with emojis!

This isn't for me, but I have a Heba friend who is disinclined toward seeking a tether for himself. Could I ask you to talk to him?

I do not find him difficult to get along with, although I agree he has a stubborn streak. After what occurred during our mission, I assumed he would find a tether immediately.

To know he remains untethered is worrisome indeed.

That said, I was unaware Kylo had close comrades who would speak on his behalf. He appears most comfortable by himself. I believe that is the core of his reluctance to tether with anyone.

It's complicated. He and I are connected by something similar to the tether back in our world. It hasn't always been the easiest experience for either of us.

As stringent as your requirements for tether interest are, I'm interested. It seems we're similar in more ways than simply our relationship with water.

Heba. It appears I've had limited luck encountering Tians so far, and I'd prefer to tether with someone I've had a chance to meet before. As busy as I've been keeping myself, the three months passed sooner than I anticipated.

[Though that might be because of her relatively short lifespan skewing her perception of time, too.]

I do not believe I could tether with someone I had never met face to face. To allow someone into your heart and mind requires trust as well as respect.

As you are aligned with water and of a more reserved nature, I believe we are quite compatible.

You can only make so much of an assessment about someone you've only spoken to through text in terms of potential incompatibilities, too.

I would agree. Since I'm already quite close to when they say negative effects will start from not having a tether, sooner rather than later would suit me, but as I haven't done it before, I'm unsure of how people tend to approach the actual tethering process.

I have tethered twice now. The first time was a very formal affair, and the second less so. If we were to tether I would be willing to do so in a more expedient fashion, for the sake of you health.

That would suit me. I might be an extravagant dresser, but I'm used to being rather spartan in other aspects of life. And yes, I would prefer not to find out personally what the experience of not tethering beyond initial symptoms is like.

That said, I am a singer and dancer by trade, so if you want a little bit of extra flair, I can offer that.

I have the interest of many Heba, a few of which meet my standards. It appears there is a shortage of Tian aligned rebels.

Looking ahead, I'm thinking I'll need a Tian Tether at some point soon to balance them all out.

She'd like to think that she's taking her future Tether prospects more seriously - starting by approaching a Tian that unquestionably follows her orders and that she's gotten to know a little better first. I presently have two Heba tethers and am likely to take on a third in the near future, so it seems I may require a Tian tether sooner than later in order to prevent imbalance.

You may choose the date. I was rather... strict in my requests for the first two ceremonies, however it has become necessary to relax my standards.
